Check out this surprise new Bon Iver track from the soundtrack for Wish I Was Here (a movie I now want to see more than ever!) because it's absolutely gorgeous. I thought Bon Iver was possibly done forever so this gives me hope there could be another new album coming...at least eventually!

Also, Zach Braff has got this whole rad movie soundtrack thing down pat. He's killing it!

Jack White @ Fox Theater Pomona - 6/12/14

1 of my best girlfriends (& eventual roommate), Stephy Lou, & I met for the 1st time at The Greek Theatre 6 years ago this September 22nd while seeing The Raconteurs & The Kills play an KICKASS show at The Greek Theatre in LA. Stephy's friends stupidly bailed on the show at the last minute but, luckily, she went anyway & I bought a last minute Section C ticket off Craigslist the (Monday) morning of the show only to then quickly sneak up to a better seat in Section B where I found myself dancing my ass off right next to Stephy Lou! It was fate, the show was fantastic & Jack White is kinda our thing :)

While all of that is sweet & adorable, it also must be said that Jack was absolutely INCREDIBLE at Fox Theater Pomona on June 10th! I'm SO grateful I was able to score 2 last minute tickets to 1 of Jack's 3 SOLD-OUT LA-area shows...and I got the tix just when I'd given up hope which made it all the more exciting. He played White Stripes stuff, Raconteurs stuff & solo stuff. It was all pure perfection. The man is a genius & a MUST-SEE live act.
