I'm already loving the 1st single off The Naked And Famous' 2nd album In Rolling Waves due for release on September 16th! For only having released 1 album so far, I'm still obsessed with this band. I've only seen them live once (at The Fonda in October 2011) & they blew me away. I can't wait for them to tour again!

Supersoaker by Kings Of Leon (NEW!!!)

I don't care if people think Kings Of Leon are sell-outs or not. Personally, I like them. They're always fantastic live & they continue to produce quality albums. Youth & Young Manhood (their 1st album ever) is still 1 of my all-time favorites. After hearing the 1st single off KOL's upcoming 6th studio album Mechanical Bull, I'm definitely looking forward to hearing the rest come September 24th!

Wolfmother @ Troubadour - 7/15/13

I can't thank my fellow concert & music-obsessed Facebook friend, Aaron, enough for hooking me up with 2 face value tickets for Wolfmother at Troubadour last night!!

The last minute show was only announced on Thursday 7/11 &, of course, it sold out within minutes. I saw the announcement but, initially, did not even try to buy tickets because I already had tix for The Neighbourhood at The Fonda over 2 months ago. I was then informed by several credible sources that The Neighbourhood really isn't all that great live (at least not yet) so I took that advice, sold my Neighbourhood tix via Craigslist to an extremely enthusiastic fan &, VERY luckily, managed to snag a pair of tix to last night's Wolfmother show! Thank you, Aaron!!!

A 2nd WM show was added (on 7/22) quickly after the 7/15 show sold out & those tix were also gone within minutes but, if anyone has any way of getting into that show next week, I highly recommend you do it 'cuz WOLFMOTHER HAS STILL GOT IT!!! What a BADASS show!

It's like Jack White, Robert Plant, Queen, The Doors & Tame Impala had a hardcore rocker lil music baby :)

Getting to be with SO many of my favorite people at the same time on the beach drinking our own booze, munching on tons of tasty snacks, listening to rad live music, sitting on blankets immediately next to the ocean on the sand is PURE BLISS. The only person who will be missing next week is Thomas who's moving to NY on Sunday. I'm stoked he was able to attend his 1st pier concert before he left though! We'll miss you, Zuko!

I REALLY hope I can snag a pair of tickets to at least 1 of their 2 LA shows in November! I've only seen them 1 time before (at Outside Lands in 2009) so I'm definitely in need of another PJ live show experience. Eddie Vedder is the man.

Filter, Live & Everclear = Summerland Tour 2013 @ The Wiltern - 6/28/13

Last Friday, everyone who attended Summerland Tour 2013 at The Wiltern featuring Filter, Live, Everclear & Sponge took a 3 hour journey back in time...to the '90s. They may not have had Groupon deals back then but I bet concert ticket prices were a lot closer to $15 per ticket (like the deal I got via Groupon for last week's show) than $50 (the original face value price). The most shocking thing is all these bands got back together to go on tour!

Updates: The lead singer of Filter is still angry, the new lead singer of Live sounds just like the original singer therefore I could barely tell the difference & Everclear is still fun with lots of classic old hits. Overall, the show was kinda silly but it was definitely a good time!
